ergeben sich Konsequenzen; Linien, an denen entlang sich (eine)

Von den vielen Möglichkeiten wird eine ausgewählt – und was
passiert mit dem Rest? (Pascal Mercier, Nachtzug nach Lissabon, 2004)
Und die Möglichkeiten, die wahrnehmbar sind, hängen davon
ab, was wir erkennen können, was wir also anerkennen können,
und mit wem wir in Folge Empathie empfinden können. (Judith

Freedom exists in the moment, before a decision is taken. In the
moment of the decision, the options are chosen and a series of
consequences follows out of them; lines along which (a) history
develops. (Alfred Andersch, Cherries of Freedom, 1952).
Out of the many possibilities, one is chosen – what happens with the
rest? (Pascal Mercier, nighttrain to Lisboa, 2004).
And the possibilities that we perceive, depend on what we can
recognize and therefore also acknowledge, and in consequence can feel

Sonifikationen
sind Darstellungen von Information in Klang.
Einige der im Rahmen von
“Time Inventors' Kabinet” in Graz 2011 entstandenen
Windzeit-Interpretationen sind ebenso zu hören wie
Klangkompositionen aus Satellitendaten, wie sie in mehreren worklabs
rund um den in Graz entstehenden Kunstnanosatelliten mursat1
entwickelt werden.
Sonifications are representations of data through sound.
The sonification pieces presented at ESC are works developped during “Time Inventors' Kabinet”, a project dealing with time and its
perception, as well as compositions emerging out of the worklabs
realized for the art nanosatellite mursat1 that is being constructed in Graz.
